Our story

How ATOM X started

ATOM X began with one engineer, one idea, and a refusal to ship software that only looks finished. Here is how it became a registered studio in Kuala Lumpur.

  1. The beginning

    An engineer frustrated with "almost shipped"

    Founder Tze Ming Luk spent years building mobile and web products and kept seeing the same pattern: polished prototypes that never reached the app stores, and businesses paying for software that fought their real workflow. The name came from a conviction — every good product is built from its fundamental unit, the atom, outward.

  2. First product

    PettoX — proving the standard on our own app

    Instead of starting with a pitch deck, ATOM X started with a product. PettoX, an AI pet care app with daily check-ins, health records, smart reminders, and household sharing, was designed, engineered, and launched on Google Play in-house. It became the working proof of how we build: clean architecture, honest UX, and a business model considered from day one.

  3. 2026

    ATOM X ENTERPRISE is registered in Kuala Lumpur

    With a live product and the first client work underway, the studio was formally registered with Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) as ATOM X ENTERPRISE, Registration No. 202603153658 (003859451-V). A registered Malaysian business, based in Kuala Lumpur, serving clients across Malaysia and worldwide.

    Four services, one standard

    ATOM X now offers mobile app development, web platform development, custom software, and product launch strategy — the same four disciplines we used to ship PettoX. Every engagement is run the way we run our own products: built to last, built to grow.
